Enrollment
Students of all religions, races, colors, and national origin are welcome at St. Aloysius Gonzaga School. Admission will not be based solely on ability or achievement. However, some students who have needs beyond our capacity to make reasonable accommodations may not be admitted. Parents must make the school aware of any special needs prior to enrollment. St. Aloysius Gonzaga School is committed to serving the parish and local community with the following enrollment priorities.
- Presently enrolled children of active parishioners whose fees are current.
- Siblings of currently enrolled or previously enrolled students whose family’s fees are current.
- Children of active parishioners who will be enrolling for the first time.
- Students whose parents are active in another Catholic parish, and therefore will pay the established non-parishioner rate.
- Siblings of students whose parents are active in another Catholic parish paying the non-parishioner rate.
- Other students.
All students transferring from another school into St. Aloysius Gonzaga School are admitted on a probationary basis. After the end of that school year, parents, teachers and administration will consult regarding the child’s continuation. If agreed, the student will continue in good standing.

Tuition Assistance & Financial Aid Options
Scholarships & Grants
Active Parishioner Tuition Aid
School tuition and fees cover only a portion of the cost to educate each student. St. Aloysius Gonzaga Parish provides approximately half of the amount and this is the reason for the difference in parishioner and non-parishioner tuition.
For the purposes of receiving the parish contribution toward tuition, the St. Aloysius Gonzaga Parish Education Commission defines active members of St. Aloysius Gonzaga Parish as:
a. Register at the St. Aloysius Gonzaga rectory.
b. Demonstrate devotion to Sunday worship with the parish community.
c. Involved in the parish ministries, activities or committees.
d. Consistently contributing to the financial support of the parish through Sunday envelopes based upon family means.
Members of St. Aloysius Gonzaga Parish will pay the tuition amount as determined by the parish Finance Council and Education Commission.
Families who choose not to financially support the parish, or otherwise fail to meet the definition of active members of the parish, will be classified as non-active members. Non-active members will be required to pay the full per capita cost of tuition for their child(ren).
St. Al’s offers tuition aid to families active in the parish (as defined above). This helps to ensure that all children of the parish have the opportunity to receive a Catholic grade school education. Applications for tuition aid are available through FACTS and maintained with this outside organization handling all necessary paperwork.

Catholic Education Foundation
The Catholic Education Foundation for the Archdiocese of Cincinnati (CEF) will once again offer tuition assistance grants for the 2025-26 school year!
Grants are available for preschool - 8th grade students. FACTS Grant & Aid applications must be submitted to be eligible for this award.
Families up to 750% of the Federal Poverty Level are encouraged to apply. The deadline to have all 2024 tax return information entered into FACTS Grant & Aid for eligibility is February 16, 2025.

ESAP (Catholic Education Fund)
Scholarships are awarded to one boy and one girl currently in 7th grade at participating schools. Scholarship Applications ask students to write a short essay demonstrating how they used their time and talents to help someone in need this past year.

Tuition Assistance Program (members only)
TAP is available to student members in kindergarten through 12th grade attending a Catholic school. Applicants may apply annually, whether they won or lost the previous year, as long as they are enrolled in a Catholic school. Eligibility to apply is immediate upon becoming a member. Winners are chosen at random.

Jon Peterson Special Needs (JPSN) Scholarship
Any student who has been identified as a child with a disability and for whom the district has created an individualized education plan (IEP) qualifies for the JPSN scholarship program.

EdChoice Scholarship Program
The Educational Choice Scholarship (EdChoice) Program provides students from designated public schools the opportunity to attend participating private schools. The program also provides low-income students who are entering kindergarten through 12th grade scholarship opportunities.
Other Options
Parish families are able to defray some of their tuition expense by working for one of the groups listed below. Parents volunteer to work in various concession areas at professional and/or college sporting venues. The groups then provide funds for tuition assistance to their member families.
Please feel free to contact either of the groups listed below for details about their programs if you are interested:
