A Note (or two) From Mrs. O-T
It has been great to meet so many of you. A few reminders:
SCHOOL MASS – Our school mass is every Tuesday at 8:00 AM. Currently 1st – 8th grades attend regularly, K and Pre-K will begin to join us later in the school year
ARRIVAL/DISSMISAL – Directions and maps have been sent home, about the Saint Aloysius drop off and pick up policy – PLEASE be considerate and follow the instructions, the staff are unable to “police” the policies but have taken great care to come up with the best possible scenarios.
SPIRIT WEAR FRIDAYS – Please refer to the most current handbook, it reads as such:
As always, please refer to the most current student handbook. You received a copy of it at the beginning of the year, and it is also posted on the website.
Spirit Wear Days: St. Aloysius Gonzaga permits Spirit Wear Day for special occasion. On these days’ students who wish to participate must wear official spirit wear purchased through the spirit wear department. No other items may be worn (i.e. Nike jacket over spirit wear shirt). On spirit wear days students are invited to wear relaxed bottoms, athletic shorts, and jeans which follow the same guidelines as out of uniform policy. You can always wear your uniform if you prefer.

A suggestion was made that students be allowed to show their spirit for their extracurricular involvement so a change to the policy is as follows: "The last Friday of each month, students may show their spirit by wearing uniform tops, dogi's, t-shirts etc. of organizations they are involved in the community that support the values of Saint Aloysius school."
